Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
1236 PM EST Sun Nov 16 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Cooler and drier on Monday with critically low RH values,
generally between 15 and 25 percent, are expected in the
afternoon. However, high pressure overhead keeps the winds light
through the day. Therefore, no fire weather statements will be
needed. Temperatures and moisture gradually increase during the
mid-week period and any chances for rain likely holds off until
Friday night or next weekend.

Fog potential tonight: Fog not expected.
