Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
151 PM EDT Tue Oct 14 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Wednesday should feature weather conditions similar to today with
northerly winds ahead of an approaching cold front. The boundary
will push through the forecast area without any rain Wednesday
night bringing in cooler temperatures and a reinforcing dry air
mass as winds shift to the northeast. Friday looks to be the
coolest day of the next seven and the day when Min RH values may
approach critical values. Expect temperature and moisture recovery
this weekend with the next chance of rain on Sunday.

Fog potential tonight: Patchy and mainly near bodies of water.
