Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
1249 AM EST Sat Nov 15 2025

.DISCUSSION...
The main weather story this weekend will be the passage of a dry
cold front on Sunday. Moisture will steadily increase today with
southwesterly winds, which may be breezy at times. This should
keep most locations above critical RH values this afternoon. Winds
will be even stronger on Sunday and will shift during the day
from southwest to northwest as the dry cold front moves through.
Dry air moves in behind the boundary with cooler temperatures on
Monday. This will likely be the driest day of the next seven with
critically low Min RH values expected in the afternoon. Rain free
conditions should persist through at least Thursday, though some
moisture recovery is anticipated by the middle of next week.

Fog potential tonight: Fog not expected.
