Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
112 AM EDT Mon Oct 13 2025

.DISCUSSION...
As low pressure pulls away from the area, lingering clouds and
isolated showers early this morning will give way to drier conditions
as high pressure builds into the region into mid week. Winds should
be fairly light out of the northwest to north through Wednesday before
a dry front passes Wednesday night. This front will usher in an even
drier airmass for Thursday and Friday where minimum RH values may fall
to near 35% as winds should become more northeasterly. Winds then flip
southeasterly to southerly by the weekend with increasing moisture.

Fog potential tonight: Fog is not expected.
