.DISCUSSION...
Hot and humid conditions, with dangerous heat index values, are
expected again today under the continued influence of a strong
upper ridge. High temperatures will be near 100 degrees with
heat index values of 105 to 108. Numerous showers and thunderstorms
are expected late this afternoon and evening. There is the potential
for significant severe weather with erratic damaging winds and large
hail possible.

Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny (30-40 percent). Slight chance of
                    showers and thunderstorms late in the
                    afternoon.
Chance of pcpn......20 percent.
Max temperature.....Around 99.
Min humidity........41 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........Light winds becoming east 5 to 6 mph late in
                    the afternoon, then shifting to the southeast
                    around 6 mph late in the afternoon. Gusty and
                    erratic winds expected near thunderstorms late
                    in the afternoon.
