through the weekend under high pressure.

KEY MESSAGE 1 DESCRIPTION...
The ridge of high pressure will keep winds light, skies mostly clear
and temperatures above normal through the weekend. Highs will be in
the lower 80s tomorrow for inland locations, and cooler along the
coast with a sea breeze developing by afternoon afternoon. Fog has
slowly dissipated over the waters this afternoon but expect it to
develop again tonight. How far north it is able to drift remains in
question with very little flow through 500mb. This likely to set the
stage for development right along the coast around midnight.

KEY MESSAGE 2...Potential for a system moving in mid-week,
bringing another round of wetting rainfall.

KEY MESSAGE 2 DESCRIPTION...
High pressure lingers over the region this weekend, as low
pressure system slides along the east coast early next week.
Generally, low pressure east of the Carolinas moves northeast in
the Atlantic, east of Nova Scotia. To the north, another low
pressure over Canada moves eastward, as a low over Michigan
slides east and brings a cold front along its boundary. Wetting
rainfall expected, with higher totals along Downeast, Tuesday
night into Thursday. Potential for 0.5 to 1 inch of rainfall.
Some isolated thunderstorms are also possible with this system
Wednesday afternoon.

Tonight-Sunday night...VFR. MVFR/IFR possible in fog at BHB Sunday
morning. S winds 5-10kts Sunday, becoming light and variable each
night.

Monday-Tuesday...VFR. Chance for some fog Monday night at
KBGR/KBHB. S/SE winds, 5 to 10 kts.

Tuesday night-Thursday...MVFR, possible IFR in
showers/T-storms. S/SE winds 5 to 10 kts Tuesday night into
Wednesday. Winds shift E by Thursday. Gusts to 20 mph possible
during the afternoon.

Seas remain below 3 feet with winds aob 15kts through Sunday night.
Cannot rule out patchy marine fog restricting visibilities at times
into Sunday night.

Seas below SCA criteria Monday into mid-week. Seas around 2-4
ft. Winds shift NE to SW on Monday, becoming S Tuesday, and E
Wednesday. Potential for overnight fog Monday night. Rain moves
in on Wednesday, with a chance for thunder Wednesday afternoon.
