...RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURES FOR BANGOR AND HOULTON FOR JUNE
24TH...

In Bangor, the high temperature yesterday (June 24th) was 98
degrees. This broke the old daily record of 93 degrees set most
recently in 1995. In addition, yesterday`s high temperature tied
the all-time record high for the month of June, previously set on
June 27th, 1941. It was also the highest temperature recorded on
any date in Bangor since July 14th, 1995, when the high was 99
degrees. The all-time highest temperature ever recorded in Bangor
was 104 degrees, which occurred on August 19th, 1935. Records in
Bangor date back to 1925.

In Houlton, the high temperature yesterday (June 24th) was 92
degrees. This tied the daily record high, previously set in 1995.
Yesterday was the hottest day in Houlton since June 19th, 2024,
when the high was 95 degrees. The all-time hottest temperature for
the month of June in Houlton is 97 degrees, set on June 13th,
1969. Records in Houlton date back to 1948.
