...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN HANCOCK...
SOUTHEASTERN PISCATAQUIS AND SOUTHWESTERN PENOBSCOT COUNTIES THROUGH
415 PM EDT...

At 336 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Orneville to 7 miles
northeast of Skowhegan. Movement was southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bangor, Old Town, Bucksport, Dover-Foxcroft, Dexter, Newport, Orono,
Brewer, Hampden, Hermon, Corinth, Veazie, Dedham, Kenduskeag,
Orneville, Indian Island, East Corinth, Glenburn, Orrington, and
Holden.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 95 between mile markers 157 and 207.
 State Highway 11 between Newport and Bradford.
 State Highway 9 between Dixmont and Clifton.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
southeastern, north central, west central and east central Maine.
