...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN AROOSTOOK COUNTY
THROUGH 600 PM EDT...

At 508 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles north of Portage Lake, or 10 miles north of Portage, moving
east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Presque Isle, Caribou, Portage, Mapleton, Washburn, Ashland,
Woodland, Portage Lake, Madawaska Lake, Nashville Plantation, New
Sweden, Connor, Castle Hill, Perham, Wade, Stockholm, Winterville,
Westmanland, and Cyr Plantation.

This includes State Highway 11 between Portage and Winterville.
