...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM THIS MORNING
TO 3 PM EDT FRIDAY...
...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM EDT THIS
MORNING THROUGH THIS EVENING...
...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS AFTERNOON
TO 8 AM EDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Warning, up to two feet of
  inundation above ground level expected along shorelines and
  tidal waterways (8.0 to 8.2 feet Mean Lower Low Water at
  Charleston today and 8.4 to 8.6 feet Mean Lower Low Water
  Friday). For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents
  expected. For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 5
  to 6 feet expected in the surf zone.

* WHERE...Coastal Colleton and Charleston Counties.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Warning, from 8 AM this morning
  to 3 PM EDT Friday. For the High Rip Current Risk, from 8 AM
  EDT this morning through this evening. For the High Surf
  Advisory, from 2 PM this afternoon to 8 AM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Significant saltwater inundation will render
  numerous roads impassable. Properties may also flood.
  Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach
  erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
  from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High tide will occur around 10:06 AM this
  morning at Charleston. Saltwater inundation will be possible
  several before and after high tide.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.

Visit water.weather.gov for additional water level and flood
impact information.

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.

* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, up to one foot of

  tidal waterways (9.9 to 10.1 feet Mean Lower Low Water at Fort
  Pulaski). For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents
  expected. For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 5
  to 6 feet expected in the surf zone.

* WHERE...In Georgia, Coastal Bryan, Coastal Chatham, Coastal
  Liberty and Coastal McIntosh Counties. In South Carolina,
  Beaufort and Coastal Jasper Counties.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 8 AM this morning
  to noon EDT today. For the High Rip Current Risk, from 8 AM
  EDT this morning through this evening. For the High Surf
  Advisory, from 2 PM this afternoon to 8 AM EDT Sunday.

  Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach

  to 2 hours before and after high tide.

* WHERE...Southern Berkeley County including Daniel Island.

* WHEN...From 8 AM this morning to 3 PM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Some roads in and around Daniel Island may be
  impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High tide will occur around 10:06 AM today at
  Charleston. Saltwater inundation will be possible 1 to 2 hours
  before and after high tide.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
