...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Georgia, including the following
  county, McIntosh.

* WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 551 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and
    thunderstorms with torrential rainfall extending from
    Shellman Bluff to Warsaw and Townsend. As much as an inch of
    rain has fallen since 5 PM in some locations. An additional 1
    to 2 inches could fall through 7 PM, resulting in minor
    flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Pine Harbor, Crescent, Shellman Bluff, Eulonia, Townsend,
    Blackbeard Island, Fairhope, Warsaw, Brickston and Huxford.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
