...ABRUPT WIND SHIFT AND INCREASING WIND GUSTS ON THE CHARLESTON
HARBOR...

The areas affected include...
Charleston Harbor...

* At 652 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers, capable of
  producing an abrupt wind shift to northwest and gusts to around 30
  knots. These showers were located along a line from over Crab Bank
  to 7 NM northwest of Stono Inshore Reef, moving southeast at 15
  knots.

Locations impacted include...
  Castle Pinkney, Crab Bank, Wappoo Cut and Charleston Harbor
  Entrance.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect and abrupt wind shift and gusty winds to around
30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters
should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
