...PATCHY DENSE FOG THIS MORNING...

Satellite imagery, observations, and web cams indicate that patchy
dense fog has developed this morning along lower portions of the
southeast South Carolina and southeast Georgia coast. Visibility
will be reduced to a quarter of a mile or less at times, causing
hazardous traveling conditions on area roadways. Impacted areas
will include from around Hardeeville, to Savannah, to around
Riceboro and Midway, and finally down to around Darien. The dense
fog will likely impact portions of Interstate 95 as well as
Interstate 16. The fog could linger through mid morning before
dissipating.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If driving, slow down and leave extra distance ahead of you in
case a sudden stop is needed.
