.DISCUSSION...
KEY MESSAGE 1...
An Omega Block weather pattern has developed over the north
central CONUS and Great Lakes region this weekend. At the
surface, a Canadian high pressure system is building down
across the eastern Great Lakes this weekend with a northeasterly
flow. Tonight`s low temps will be the cool once again in the
40s away from the lake and low 50s right along the lakeshore.
Fair skies and another beautiful weather day is in the forecast
Sunday. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 70 Sunday
afternoon. High pressure will dominate over the Great Lakes
region going into the early and middle of next week. A dry
forecast with mostly clear skies are expected to continue into
next week. High temperatures will gradually climb further into
the 70s and lower 80s by the middle of next week. By the end of
next week, high temperatures will be in the 80s areawide. The
next chance for rain will be late Friday into Saturday but will
remain dry until then.

.AVIATION /12Z Saturday THROUGH Wednesday/...
High pressure will build in through the TAF period, leading to a
continuation of dry, clear, and VFR conditions. Patchy river
valley fog is possible across interior eastern OH and into
interior northwestern PA early Sunday morning, but is not
expected to impact any TAF sites. Northeast winds 10-15kt with
gusts to 25kt closer to Lake Erie this afternoon shift a bit
more easterly and diminish to under 10kt tonight.

Outlook...VFR continues for the foreseeable future.

&&

.MARINE...
Northeast winds peak at around 20-25 knots during the pre-dawn
hours this morning, before settling around 15-20 knots for the
daytime hours today. The resulting waves will build to 4 to 5
ft and allow for the Small Craft Advisory and Beach Hazards
Statement to continue through at least Saturday afternoon. With
high pressure centered over the lake, winds will become light
and out of the east Saturday night and north Sunday through
Wednesday. Winds should be light enough to prevent the need for
headlines, but the light onshore component will result in at
least some afternoon choppiness during the week days.
