.DISCUSSION...
KEY MESSAGE 1...
Radiational cooling and light winds may result in some patchy
fog across interior NE OH and NW PA early this morning. There
may be isolated instances of dense fog, but largely expect
minimal impacts to visibility/driving conditions.

A cold front will move southeast across the region this evening,
although frontal passage will be dry for the local area. The
only notable "impact" from the front will be somewhat breezy
winds just ahead of and behind the front this afternoon through
tonight and cooler high temps in the 60s and lower 70s on
Saturday. Otherwise, an omega block pattern will provide dry
weather and seasonable temperatures through at least the middle
of the week. Anticipate high temperatures in the 70s with lows
in the 40s and 50s through Wednesday with high temperatures
increasing into the 80s towards the end of the week. Rain
chances may return by the end of the week and into next weekend
as the synoptic pattern becomes a bit more progressive.

&&

.AVIATION /12Z Friday THROUGH Tuesday/...
VFR expected through the period. Winds light and out of the
northwest, with strongest winds around 10-12 knots and gusts to
20 knots possible during the afternoon along the lakeshore in
far northeast Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania. A cold front
comes in from the north late Friday night, with shifts becoming
north to northeast around 8-12 knots.

Outlook...Patchy fog is possible early Monday morning.

&&

.MARINE...
Mostly quiet marine conditions will continue on Lake Erie
through early next week, although probabilities are increasing
for Small Craft Advisories and Beach Hazard Statements Friday
night and Saturday as NE winds approach or exceed 20 knots in
the wake of a backdoor cold front, building waves to 2-4 feet
and elevating the risk for rip currents. Otherwise, NE winds
will slowly decrease this evening and tonight, becoming SW at
10-15 knots ahead of the cold front Friday. Light winds are
expected Sunday and Monday before N winds potentially increase
again Tuesday.
