...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WATERS...

  Avon Point to Willowick OH beyond 5 nm off shoreline to
  US-Canadian border...
  Vermilion to Avon Point OH beyond 5 nm off shoreline to
  US-Canadian border...

At 449 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located
12 nm north of Avon Point, moving northeast at 25 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
