...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 8 PM
EDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Peak heat index values ranging from the upper 90s to lower
  100s Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Overnight lows in the low to
  mid 70s will provide for limited nighttime relief from the heat.

* WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and northwest Ohio.

* WHEN...From 2 PM this afternoon to 8 PM EDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Hot and humid conditions will continue on
  Thursday, and portions of the Heat Advisory may need to be
  extended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an
emergency! Call 9 1 1.
