Lake effect snow is diminishing this evening and the Lake Effect
Snow Warning has been allowed to expire. With new snowfall of one

10 AM EST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to 6
  inches. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph.

* WHERE...Lucas county.

* WHEN...From 10 AM Saturday to 10 AM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact Thanksgiving holiday travel.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow is expected over
  northwestern portions of Lucas County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.

The Ohio Department of Transportation and Ohio Turnpike and
Infrastructure Commission strongly encourage motorists to heed

  conditions could impact Thanksgiving holiday travel.

  over southern Erie County and northern and central Crawford
  County today.
