Issued at 138 PM CDT Tue Jun 17 2025 Drier air will filter into the region the next couple of days to allow us to dry out and warm back up to near to slightly above normal temperatures. With the warmer temperatures returning, the risk of heat-related impacts will once again increase. With heat index values expected to range from 105-111 degrees Wednesday and Thursday, there will be a moderate to major risk of heat-related impacts. As we head into the end of the workweek and the weekend, the heat risk will decrease to minor to moderate with the expected cloud cover and possible rain chances. As we head into the weekend, a tropical wave could increase moisture into the region promoting low to medium rain chances. Confidence remains low on the actual outcome of where this feature will track, so our extended forecast continues to have high uncertainty. If this feature does track further north, we can see increased rain chances in the 40-60% range. && .AVIATION...
