Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. GMZ200-100515- 1053 AM CST Sun Nov 9 2025 .SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS... Sustained winds of 20-30 knots with frequent Gale-force gusts has warranted an expansion of the Gale Warning to cover the bays through 2 PM this afternoon. A Small Craft Advisory will follow through mid-afternoon Monday for the bays. The Gale Warning remains in effect for the open waters through 8 AM Monday, before being replaced by a Small Craft Advisory through 6 PM Monday. Conditions are expected to improve by Monday evening, with winds below 20 knots and seas subsiding below 7 feet. Gentle to moderate (BF 3-4) onshore flow returns Tuesday, strengthening to a south to southeasterly fresh to strong breeze (BF 5-6) Tuesday night through Wednesday night.
