...Notable but below river flood levels expected on the Rio Grande...

.For the Rio Grande at Laredo.
* At 7:28 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 2.2 feet (0.67 meters).
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet (2.44 meters).
* Caution stage is 7.0 feet (2.13 meters).
* Forecast: The river is now expected to remain below flood staged
  based on a lower crest at Columbia Bridge. The river will rise this
  afternoon, cresting at around 7.6 feet (2.32 meters). The river
  will then begin to fall overnight, dropping below action stage
  around 1 AM Thursday.


Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio, local TV and radio stations, or
cable TV outlets, for the latest weather information as additional
rainfall could affect crest forecasts.
