.For the Rio Grande at Columbia Bridge.
* At 7:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 7.2 feet (2.2 meters).
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet (5.5 meters).
* Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet (4.9 meters).
* Caution stage is 10.0 feet (3.0 meters).
* Forecast:  The river is expected to reach 13.7 feet (4.2 meters) by
  Wednesday morning. The river will then fall to below caution stage
  Wednesday evening.



Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio, local TV and radio stations, or
cable TV outlets, for the latest weather information, as
additionalrainfall could affect crest forecasts...Notable but below
river flood levels expected on the Rio Grande...
