...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN DUVAL...SOUTHWESTERN
JIM WELLS AND WEST CENTRAL KLEBERG COUNTIES THROUGH 845 PM CDT...

At 756 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles northeast of
Premont to near Ramirez. Movement was east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Premont, Ramirez, La Gloria, Ricardo, Rios, and Cruz Calle.

This includes the following highways...
 US Highway 281 between mile markers 694 and 706.
 US Highway 77 between mile markers 698 and 700.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
