...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN DUVAL...SOUTHWESTERN
JIM WELLS AND WEST CENTRAL KLEBERG COUNTIES THROUGH 1015 PM CDT...

At 936 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles northwest of Rios to near Concepcion to
6 miles south of Ramirez. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Premont, Concepcion, Ramirez, La Gloria, Rios, and Cruz Calle.

This includes US Highway 281 between mile markers 694 and 706.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
south central Texas.
