The National Weather Service in State College has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Eastern Sullivan County in north central Pennsylvania...

* Until 315 AM EDT.

* At 154 AM EDT, Flash flooding is ongoing. Thunderstorms produced
  very heavy rainfall of 3 to 4 inches across the warned area of
  Eastern Sullivan County late Sunday evening, until shortly after
  midnight. Additional rainfall amounts will be less that 0.25 of an
  inch early this morning.


  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, flood
           prone areas in towns, low spots on rural roads
           adjacent to streams and creeks, underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Lopez, Ricketts Glen State Park and Laporte.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
