...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following
  counties, Columbia, Lycoming and Sullivan.

* WHEN...Until 200 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Flooding is
  occurring along the Fishing Creek, Elk Creek, and many smaller
  creeks nearby.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1106 AM EDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in
    the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain
    have fallen since midnight.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in
    the warned area from thunderstorms today. Flooding will be
    worsen by additional rainfall of only a half of an inch or
    more.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Jamison City, Waller, Central, Ricketts Glen State Park and
    Biggertown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
