.DISCUSSION...
Increasing clouds will occur today, in advance of the next
weather system that will bring a period of light snow across
Northwestern PA this afternoon.
A brief warmup is forecast for Wednesday with breezy conditions
and periods of snow on Wednesday, that could fall heavy at times
across the North. Lighter snow, mixing with or changing to
rain, along with a brief period of freezing rain possible
Wednesday morning across the Lower Susquehanna Valley and Western
Poconos.
Following this will be lake effect and upslope snow Wednesday
night through Thursday across the Northwest Mountains and
Laurel Highlands.
More widespread accumulating snow (or mixed precipitation in the
South) is possible late Friday or Saturday, continuing into early
Sunday, before becoming more confined to Northern and Western
Pennsylvania by Sunday afternoon and evening.
