.DISCUSSION...
Today will be more humid and breezy with westerly wind gusts of
20 to 30 mph. The heat and humidity will fuel showers and
thunderstorms lasting into the late afternoon in the northern tier
and evening over the southern parts of PA. Several storms may
produce damaging winds and a few may produce hail. Rainfall
amounts will be generally 0.25 to 0.75 inches with locally higher
amounts possible from multiple rounds of storms.
A cold front will bring drier conditions again by Sunday
afternoon, with RH likely dropping into the 30s percent for much
of central PA. Warm and dry weather will continue into the start
of next week, before scattered storms return to the forecast for
the middle and latter portion of the week.
