Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central Pennsylvania
National Weather Service State College, PA
420 AM EDT Sat Jun 14 2025

.DISCUSSION...
A nearly stationary frontal boundary a few to several
thousand feet above ground will reside across the central
and southern part of Pennsylvania today and tonight before
sinking to the south and becoming more diffuse Sunday.

This boundary will be the focus for periods of rain, some
heavy, today into early tonight. Isolated thunderstorms
will be possible across the southern half of the state
late this morning through this afternoon.

Locally heavy rain of over one inch per hour will occur in
some places, especially where a few thunderstorms train
across the same locations.

Mainly cloudy and cool conditions with high humidity will
persist Sunday into Monday with a few showers from time
to time.
