.DISCUSSION...
A cold front will drop across the forecast area later today.
Several rounds of showers are expected through the day in the NW,
with rain getting into southeast PA later this evening and
overnight. The rain will be beneficial, with many locations
picking up 0.5-1.25" of rain by Wednesday morning.
Drier weather returns for Wednesday through the weekend. Gusty
northerly winds on Wednesday afternoon will be accompanied by minimum
afternoon RH values in the 30-40% range. Lighter winds are
expected the rest of the week with RH values dropping into the
20s on Thursday and Friday afternoon. Much of the northern tier
counties will likely experience a widespread freeze and other
areas should get a widespread frost or freeze on Thursday and
Friday mornings. Friday will be the coldest morning.
