A ridge of high pressure at the surface and aloft will slide east across Pennsylvania this morning, bringing clear skies and light wind. Sunshine mixing with mid and high clouds this afternoon will accompany warmer conditions today and winds will be relatively light. The high will move off the Mid Atlantic Coast later today, and moisture will return quickly tonight on a strengthening low level Southwesterly flow. Some showers and possible thunderstorms will move over the Western half of the state by daybreak Wednesday. The chance for showers and thunderstorms increases throughout Wednesday afternoon as a cold front and preceding nose of strong low to mid level, west to southwesterly winds moves across the Commonwealth. Seasonably warm and dry weather with abundant sunshine and comfortable humidity will follow for Thursday. .TODAY... Sky/Weather.........Sunny (20-30 percent). Max Temperature.....Around 83.
