.DISCUSSION...
Today will be noticeably more humid and breezy with westerly wind
gusts of 20 to 30 mph. The heat and humidity will fuel showers
and thunderstorms, with the first showers arriving during the
morning hours. Additional rounds of storms are expected to develop
during the afternoon and early evening, some of which may produce
damaging winds and hail. Rainfall amounts will be generally 0.25
to 0.50 inches with locally higher amounts possible from multiple
rounds of storms. Patchy fog is possible late tonight into early
Sunday morning.
A cold front will bring drier conditions again by Sunday
afternoon, with RH likely dropping into the 30s percent. Warm and
dry weather will continue into the start of next week, before
scattered storms return to the forecast for the middle and latter
portion of the week.
