.DISCUSSION...
A cold front passing through the region this morning will
continue to shift winds out of the northwest over the next couple
of hours, with this wind direction expected to prevail throughout
the rest of the day. Winds will gradually increase towards 5 to 10
mph sustained, with gusts between 10 and 15 mph during the
afternoon hours before steadily decreasing this evening. Fairly
high confidence in wind direction and moderate confidence in wind
gusts, where a couple of gusts ranging between 15 and 20 mph will
be possible between 1PM and 4PM.

This cold front will also bring drier conditions, with minimum
relative humidity falling into the mid-to-upper 30% range at the
burn site. This appears to be fairly close to the floor today and
is expected to occur in the late afternoon to evening hours before
recovering quickly near and after sunset this evening. Drier air
will be in place tomorrow, with minimum relative humidities
trending closer to 30% near the wildfire site.
