Most flooding will be localized to areas that can experience rapid runoff with heavy rainfall. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. A few strong to potentially severe thunderstorms with gusty winds are possible Thursday afternoon. The first heat wave of the season is expected Sunday into early next week. The risk of heat-related illnesses is likely elevated given limited acclimation.
