Expect lower humidity and no precipitation today and again Monday under the influence of high pressure. Highs today will be in the 70s in the mountains and lower 80s in the valleys. Lows tonight will be mainly in the 50s, but the north-central mountains will dip into the upper 40s. The wind turns to come out of the south on Monday. This should help the temperatures warm up a little more than today, reaching afternoon highs of 75 to 80 degrees over the Alleghenies and Poconos, and the lower 80s across the south. Another round of widespread showers and thunderstorms is expected on Tuesday. The storms may be severe and make brief heavy rains. Showers and storms could linger into early Wednesday across the east. $$
