Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
513 AM EDT Mon Oct 6 2025

High pressure across the region will lead to another dry and
unseasonably warm day today. High temperatures this afternoon will
range from the upper 70s across the Poconos to the mid-80s across
western Pennsylvania. Increasing clouds from the west are
expected tonight into Tuesday morning as a cold front approaches
the region with increasing chances for rain into Tuesday morning.
Low temperatures overnight will range from the lower 50s across
northwestern Pennsylvania to the lower 60s across far western
Pennsylvania.

Periods of showers are expected to continue on Tuesday and into
Wednesday morning as the aforementioned cold front pushes eastward
across the Commonwealth. Rain chances become more confined to the
southeastern half of Pennsylvania by Wednesday evening, with dry
conditions prevailing for Thursday.

Cooler temperatures will follow the front for Wednesday through
Friday, and there will be the risk of frost for Wednesday night
and Thursday night. A few spots could even touch the freezing mark
across the northern sections of the Keystone state.
