Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
549 AM EDT Fri Sep 18 2026

A cold front will continue to move south, out of the region this
morning. As it does so, drier air will move in from the north and
erode the morning clouds and fog, revealing partly to mostly
sunny skies this afternoon. High temperatures will range from the
70s to the low 80s. Lows tonight will be in the 40s and 50s.

High clouds will begin to move in early Saturday ahead of the next
weather maker, with clouds lowering and thickening through the
day. Rain showers will be possible in northwestern Pennsylvania
prior to sunset Saturday evening, and then spread eastward across
the rest of the Commonwealth between late Saturday night and
Sunday morning. Rain may be heavy at times on Sunday.

Looking beyond this weekend, below normal temperatures are
favored for the beginning part of next week as a rainy pattern
remains likely.
