Locally heavy rainfall may lead to ponding of water on roadways and in low- lying areas. A few thunderstorms cannot be ruled out as well, primarily for southern Pennsylvania, with lower chances of thunder elsewhere across the Keystone State. High temperatures for today will range from the upper 60s across the Northern Tier to the upper 70s and lower 80s across the southern valleys. Showers and storms will give way to isolated showers and drizzle late Sunday night, with a general lull in activity expected on Monday. Pockets of showers and mist will once again overspread the region Tuesday through midweek as the low pressure system lingers by the coast, with intervals of damp/dreary conditions and below- normal temperatures accompanying this pattern. $$
