National Weather Service State College PA
442 AM EDT Sat Aug 2 2025

After a very warm and muggy month of July, Canadian high pressure
is helping the month of August begin with cooler temperatures and
much lower humidity. Today will feature plentiful sunshine and
comfortable humidity, with afternoon highs ranging from the mid
70s across north- central Pennsylvania to the low 80s across the
southeastern piedmont.

Mostly clear skies overnight will accompany lows ranging from the
upper 40s in the northwest mountains to low 60s toward
Philadelphia and 50s for the rest of the Commonwealth. Dry, sunny,
and comfortable conditions will continue into next week, although
high temperatures will increase a couple degrees each day.
