An additional round of showers will be possible overnight into Saturday morning, mainly focused on the western half of the Commonwealth. Low temperatures overnight will range from the lower 60s across north-central Pennsylvania to the mid-70s near Philadelphia. Scattered showers and storms are possible across the Commonwealth throughout the day on Saturday, with locally heavy rainfall being the main hazard. Localized flash flooding will be possible, especially in urbanized and poor drainage areas that have received heavy rainfall the past couple of days. Sunday trends drier compared to previous days, with more tranquil weather expected. High temperatures this weekend will be near-average for the first half of August. Periods of showers and thunderstorms are expected for the first half of the week, with locally heavy rainfall possible. Multiple days of rainfall with repeated rounds of heavy rain could lead to isolated flash flooding concerns through Tuesday. $$
