Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
458 PM EDT Wed Aug 27 2025

We will continue to get an early taste of fall weather over the
next several days with cool mornings and pleasant afternoons.
Tonight, fair weather cumulus clouds will clear out and make way
for a clear cool evening. Lows will dip down to near 40 across the
northern mountains and remain in the mid 50s in the southeast.

A cold front will bring a chance for showers and a thunderstorm or
two across northern Pennsylvania Thursday afternoon into Friday,
but rainfall amounts will generally remain below a tenth of an
inch south of route 6. Another Canadian high pressure system will
move in for Labor Day weekend, ensuring the continuation of
temperatures in the 60s and 70s during the day and upper 30s to
low 50s overnight.
