Scattered showers and a few embedded thundershowers will continue moving across the Commonwealth tonight through tomorrow as a disturbance tracks southeastward from the Great Lakes, with activity expected to be more numerous over the Northern Mountains. Lows for tonight will be in the 60s regionwide, while highs for Monday will range from the upper 70s across the Poconos to the upper 80s across the southern valleys. Hot and humid conditions are possible on the warm side of the temperature boundary Tuesday through Thursday, primarily across southern/western Pennsylvania, where high temperatures may climb into the low-to-mid 90s and heat indices may reach 100 degrees. Chances for thunderstorms are expected to accompany this heat and humidity, with some thunderstorms potentially being strong to severe. $$
