539 AM EST Sun Dec 7 2025

Light snow across northwest Pennsylvania may result in winter
driving conditions this afternoon and evening particularly along
Interstate 90. Snowfall amounts range from a coating up to 2
inches.

High temperatures today will range from the low 30s across the
northern Alleghenies to around 40 degrees along the southern tier
valleys.

Snow showers to the southeast of Lake Erie end tonight. Skies will
be partly to mostly cloudy with noticeably colder low
temperatures in the single digits to low 20s.

Monday will be cold and dry with high temperatures generally below
the freezing mark in the 20 to 30 degree range. Expect bitterly
cold to frigid temperatures Monday night into Tuesday morning with
low temperatures between 0 and 15 degrees.

Snow is forecast across northwest Pennsylvania Tuesday night into
Wednesday morning. A brief thaw is forecast on Wednesday with
high temperatures in the 35 to 50 degree range. This short-lived
warm up will likely result in a precipitation type transition to
a rain snow mix or plain rain Wednesday afternoon. Breezy to
windy conditions are possible Wednesday and Thursday.

A resurgence of continental polar to arctic air is projected from
late week through the upcoming weekend with an elevated risk of
snow.
