Dry conditions will prevail the rest of today and Tuesday. As the high pressure system moves eastward on Tuesday, a fast west to east upper level jet to our north will bring a cold front southward across the lower Great Lakes region late Wednesday into the end of the week. This will reintroduce rain chances to the Keystone state. Wednesdayhas shower chances in the northern and western tiers of the state and with Thursday seeing the highest precipitation chances extending into central PA. Plenty of sunshine later today and on Tuesday will make for a nice late summer conditions. Highs today will range from the mid to upper 60s across the mountains, to the mid 70s across the far southeast. Clear skies and light winds tonight will make for a cool night, with lows in the 40s. There will be a wide range in temperatures Tuesday afternoon across Pennsylvania, ranging from the upper 60s across the northeast to the lower 80s across the southwest. $$
