Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
1148 AM EDT Sat Oct 4 2025

High pressure centered over Southeastern Virginia this morning
will remain nearly stationary and maintain control of our weather
over this weekend and through Monday.

Each of the next 3 days will feature abundant sunshine, light wind
and low humidity with afternoon high temperatures in the upper 70s
to low 80s averaging 12 to 17 degrees above normal for early
October.

Overnight lows tonight will be in the mid 40s to lower 50s with
patchy fog in the deeper valleys of Central and Northern
Pennsylvania that contain larger streams and rivers.

The next chance of widespread showers will come later Tuesday
afternoon into Wednesday morning, as a cold front from the
northern Great Plains moves across the Keystone state. Cooler
temperatures will follow for the second half of next week.
