An upper level low pressure system will keep a chance of showers
from time to time into the first half of the weekend. Most of
the activity will be over the northern and western sections of
Pennsylvania. Otherwise dry weather will prevail into at least
the first part of next week.

Lows tonight will range from the 40s across the north and west to
the mid 50s across the southeast. Fog will likely form in river
valley locations.

Again, Friday should be mainly dry across central Pennsylvania,
but showers may linger across eastern Pennsylvania with the slow
moving cold front, and an approaching upper trough will result in
additional showers moving into western Pennsylvania later in the
day. These showers will linger into Saturday across north central
and western Pennsylvania as colder air aloft and the milder water
of the Great Lakes results in an unstable airmass.

Highs on Friday will range from the 50s across the northwestern
and western mountains, to near 70 degrees across the southeast.

Temperatures for the weekend will trend cooler, with highs on
Saturday in the 40s and 50s. Sunday will be a few degrees warmer.
Lows both nights will be mainly in the 40s, but in the 30s across
portions of western Pennsylvania.
