Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
441 PM EDT Fri Aug 22 2025

High pressure over the area will provide the Keystone state
with mainly clear skies overnight into the first part of
Saturday. A cold front over the upper Great Lakes late this
afternoon will bring a chance of showers and storms to the western
sections of Pennsylvania Saturday afternoon. More in the way of
widespread showers and storms will be possible on Sunday into
early Monday, as the front slows as it moves across the region.

The clear skies and light winds overnight will bring some
valley fog to the Keystone state late tonight into early
Saturday morning. Low temperatures by morning will range
from the 50s across most of Pennsylvania, to the 60s across
far western sections of the state.

Clouds will be on the increase during the afternoon on Saturday,
as a cold front nears the area. High temperatures will be in
the upper 70s to mid 80s. Lows Saturday night will be in the 60s.

High temperatures on Sunday will be in the mid 70s to lower 80s.
Cooler temperatures and mainly dry weather will follow for much of
next week, once the cold front moves east of the area on Monday.
Some lake effect rain showers will be possible from Monday
afternoon into Tuesday, mainly across the northwest portion of
Pennsylvania.
