High pressure over southern Canada late this afternoon will build
southward across the northeastern states the next few days. This
high will bring clear skies but cold temperatures to the Keystone
state into the first part of Saturday. A complex storm system is
expected to form off the southeast coast this weekend and track
northward. The system has the potential to bring rain and gusty
winds to portions of Pennsylvania Sunday into Tuesday. This being
especially the case over far eastern sections of the state.

A frost advisory is in effect tonight for portions of western
and northern Pennsylvania. A freeze warning is effect for McKean
County. Most of the Keystone state will have lows in the 30s, with
some spots across the northwest mountains dropping to around
freezing. Temperatures across the southeast part of the state will
be a bit warmer, with lows in the lower 40s.

Thursday and Thursday night are expected to feature the coldest
weather of the week. Highs on Thursday will range form the 50s
across the northern and western mountains, to the lower 60s
elsewhere. Lows Thursday night will be mainly in the 30s, with
some spots across the northwest mountains dropping into the mid to
upper 20s.

Temperatures for Friday will be a bit warmer, but much of the area
will drop back into the 30s Friday night.
