Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
625 PM EDT Thu Aug 20 2026

Skies will clear tonight as lingering showers taper off,
resulting in fog formation across much of the Commonwealth,
especially across the Allegheny Plateau and in low-lying areas.
Low temperatures for tonight will range from the lower 50s across
the Northern Tier to the lower 60s across the southern valleys.

Fog will mix out through the morning hours on Friday, giving way
to lots of sunshine and drier weather for the day. High
temperatures Friday will range from the mid 70s to lower 80s
regionwide.

The pattern turns more unsettled again as we head into the
weekend, with chances for showers and thunderstorms both Saturday
and Sunday.
