Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
502 AM EST Sat Nov 15 2025

A warm front will move northeast across Pennsylvania late this
morning and this afternoon, accompanied by thickening clouds and a
few brief showers. Milder temperatures peaking in the 50s to low
60s will move into the region this afternoon, in the wake of the
warm front.

More frequent showers and possibly even a gusty thunderstorm
will occur from the mid afternoon hours through early tonight
as a potent cold front approaches from the Ohio Valley.

Gusty West to Northwest winds between 35 and 45 mph will follow
the cold front for late tonight through Sunday. Some gusts
Sunday afternoon and evening could be around 50 mph. Peak wind
gusts will decrease by about 10 mph on Monday, but it will still
be quite windy.

Noticeably colder air will push into the region for Sunday and
Monday with mixed rain and snow showers scattered about across the
Central Ridge and Valley region of the state, and frequent snow
showers across the Northwest Mountains. Locally heavy bands of
snow squalls are possible Sunday afternoon through Monday.
